Re-watched The Brave Little Toaster recently for the first time in yeeeeeears and was struck by what a dark film it actually is. Other than the junkyard scene (which I’ve always found unsettling), a lot of really grim stuff just kind of flew over my head as a kid. I mean, seriously - a blender gets gutted right in front of them. Gutted!
And so I felt compelled to draw some household appliances, surprise surprise.
