The only emperor is the emperor of ice-cream.My fifth and final senior show piece, and probably my favorite - a piece three years in the making (kind of.) Based on a doodle I did spring of freshman year during my American Lit class, which I initially scribbled whilst we discussed Wallace Stevens’ “The Emperor of Ice Cream.” I’d been meaning to do a full illustration ever since, and the show seemed like the perfect opportunity.
Print is available in my Society6 shop, and that free shipping promotion is still going on till midnight PST tonight!

Last senior show piece!

Bit of OC art created to submit to my school’s annual juried student art show. Possible scene from a comic that currently only exists in my head and on a few pieces of scrap paper, but I’d like to get it together someday. (It’ll be awhile, though, as these two have a lot to go through before they get to this particular adventure.)This is definitely the most ambitious (and terrifying) attempt I’ve made at brush inking (11x17!), but I had a blast and will definitely be doing something like this again.

Sooooo I totally thought I was actually going to have time for recreational drawing (in other words, fan art) this semester… HA. You’d think after three years of this college thing I wouldn’t be so naive. Being a double major with three jobs and occasional freelance projects doesn’t exactly leave much free time.I’ve been drawing lots, but 99.5% of that drawing has been somehow related to school, work, or both. So I figured I’d reblog this from my other tumblr just to say hey! I’m not dead! Yet! (School may yet do me in on lack of sleep alone.)

Collage-styled illustration for one of my classes last (fall) semester - loved working on it, but it took flippin’ forever. I think I went through a couple seasons of Arrested Development while I worked O.o
Print is available here! :D

Reblarging from my other blog again to let people know I’ve got another print available!

Illustration I put together for the front (or back, whichever way you hold it) of my business cards. Just ordered ‘em last night - can’t wait to see how they turn out :D
Also, because I made the original file at a decent size, I’ve got it available as a print (and as an iphone case/skin) at my Society6 shop!

Reblogging from my other art tumblr ‘cuz I’ve got a new print available! :D

About time I posted this! Illustration done for my computer graphics class last semester - we were supposed to use Illustrator, but I bent the guidelines a bit and used a Photoshop/Manga Studio/Illustrator combo. Much better for my sanity, and much better outcome. Illustrator is eeeevil.
Also! I finally got around to setting up a Society6 shop - so far this is the only print I’ve got available, but I should have other pieces available soon.

Reblarghing myself from my other tumblr to say hey! I’ve got a print shop now! I’ve only got the one piece up so far, but I’ll be sure to post when I’ve got more available. I won’t, however, be selling fan-art prints - sorry! (Originals are a different matter… so stay tuned on that front.)
(Also, my apologies for the lack of proper art posts lately. School is attempting to flatten me, as usual. But I do have stuff in the works!)
