Poor guy simply can’t get the hang of portal physics, while Chell leads the way as the old pro she is. It could be a long journey.
Wheatley Fanart Exchange
First official Wheatley Fanart Exchange is go! Not sure what this is about? You submit your Wheatley design, get randomly assigned someone else’s to draw, and someone else will draw yours! We already have about thirty participants, and anyone else is welcomed and encouraged to join in.
If you’re interested in participating, here’s what to do:
- Reply or reblog to sign up.
- Provide some sort of reference (picture or description) and send it to my submission box before Tuesday the 24th, 11:59pm EST.
- Wheatleys will be randomly doled out, and assignments and references will be sent to submission boxes sometime on Wednesday the 25th. If you don’t have submissions enabled and aren’t willing to do so, please provide an email I can send to.
- Drawings are due anytime on Wednesday, May 16th. That’s three weeks, which is hopefully enough time for people busy with school and finals. Tag your post with “wheatley fanart exchange” and the recipient’s username, and release him into the wilds of tumblr. Tags can be unreliable though, so I’ll also create a bandwagon post closer to the due date so you can reblog with your art.
Assignments are being kept secret, so be sure not to share with your recipient until posting day!
If you expressed interest on my previous post I’ve already put you down as a participant. If you liked the previous post, I included you on the maybe list, but please clarify whether that’s a yes (I hope it is)! Current participants can be found here and will be updated as more people sign up.
